A poem that was added on Overland Journal. To me, I really think that this poem speaks to me, mainly because of its simplicity, yet it says so much, about how different the protagonist is about ‘dates that the men should remember’. About how, special days should be the same as every other day. Something that I have always believed in and don’t see myself changing anytime in the now or the future.
Really shows then right, that your core will always remain even as things around you change.
